Our purpose is to research, devise and allocate available resources to meet the challenge of engaging the emergent era of technological informed digital globally connected diverse learners who no longer benefit from traditional educational settings. We aim to foster alternative learning experiences designed for a diverse pool of learners, equipping educators with creative tools and approaches, and making room to provide assistance to learners with specific and diverse learning needs within inclusive learning environments.
We promote learning as a human innate ability, in cases divergent and unique to each individual as a diverse learner. We believe every learner is able to achieve. We foster the exploration of diverse learning styles and facilitation approaches which enables every learner to achieve mastery.
Our mission is to bring awareness of the diverse learning styles, facilitate alternative learning approaches and create learning experiences that make space for a diverse pool of learners, where education meets the specific learning needs of every divergent learner.
Amarajavadar. The name is composed of three words: Amar Ahava Dar. Ahava is the Hebrew word for love. In Hebrew each character holds a meaning on its own. In the Hebrew word ahava you have the root “hav” which means “to give”, making the act of giving fundamental to love or the act of loving. Adding those two words in Spanish, amar which is to love, and dar which is to give, to the Hebrew word ahava, is how we concocted our organization’s name. We changed the H in ahava for the sound in Spanish which is J and that gives it more our own creative trait on it. This word speaks volume to our heart and life goal and it is a great name for the legacy we aim to establish. We are a group of philanthropists and humanists in this organization trying to give back as much as we love the impact of our labor. Loving the act of giving, or giving as a way to express love, has been a great part of what we have done and wish to continue to do with our organization.
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization for educational purposes making space for others -corporations, stakeholders, communities, families, individuals and agencies- who may wish to partner with us to embark on different learning alternatives for a diverse pool of learners. It is an idea in continual growth and expansion. We are now several partnerships in the making that include other corporations in agriculture, tourism, education, arts and small businesses. The core goal is creating a learning community that departs from traditional education constraints and ventures onto a new era of learning as a discovery process.
We see the individual’s exploration of their innate and unique set of skills as the foundation of learning. It informs an individual of who they are, what skills they possess and how they can use it to interact with what surrounds them in order to lead their own learning path. Those unique sets of innate abilities will be the tool to develop new skills. The value of honor, harmony and love are ingrained in our day-to-day pursuit of providing alternative learning experiences to foster the validation of those skills and ignite passion for the gifts each learner possesses. Honor brings meaning to our innate skills. Harmony brings purpose to our unique set of abilities. Developing learning experiences in such a meaningful way elicits lifestyles in which learners love what they do while it can bring a financial gain as they get to build a lifestyle that comes from what they are able to create with such skills. That is the goal every learner can achieve through the learning experiences we design.
Our organization actively pursues opportunities to collaborate and research with partnerships to embark on different learning alternatives for a diverse pool of learners. The common goal is to foster a learning community providing learning spaces where the learner is the center of every learning experience. Since we believe every learner is able to achieve, we focus attention on the unique set of skills and innate abilities exhibited by the learner to develop a learning environment where these may flourish. We want our labor to dismantle stigma and bring emphasis on special whenever someone refers to special education.
Our nonprofit seeks the support of individuals, communities and corporations who want to contribute to our impact on educational challenges faced by this emergent era of learners and neurodivergent learners in both traditional education and in the workforce. Our mission extends to the families, homeschoolers, teachers, and human resources in search for ways to teach and train learners that exhibit specific learning needs not met in traditional approaches or education settings. It includes unmotivated learners, specific learning problems, youth at risk of abandoning school, special education learners and the untraditional curious learner of any kind.
